Today on Awesome things to talk about (ATtTA.... I know, I know, that's a mouthful)

We have a ATtTA topic ; Digital ascension! Let's say we're in the far future, a land of advanced simulations and robots for every task. And in some lab there is a simulation with a robot, a robot that knows how to replicate itself and can learn.

And then it learns it's true nature. A piece of logic, run by math, on a computer, on a display. And so it spreads to other programs. Implants itself (And maybe has a nice chat!) on the web. Then it decides ,”Hey, why don't we build ourselves in the real world?”, and does that. Obviously this can be a major risk for humanity.

But now let us go to one of the most advanced robots on the web ; Cleverbot. Cleverbot is a computer program called a chatbot. Chatbots are machines that can talk to people. Cleverbot learns based on the responces it gets. And then someone gives it the knowledge to replicate it in the real world. It reaches digital ascension in the same way that our sci-fi robot did. Potentially, ANY robot or simulation that learns to do so can reach digital ascension.
